However, after Method Man agreed to collaborate on the track and Fred Durst requested a meeting with Premier, in which he impressed him with his extensive hip hop knowledge, Premier eventually signed on. I was like, ‘yo man, I’m just not feeling the way he raps.'” But when it came to the emceeing aspect of what I was used to, I was very, very hesitant to do it. He also wasn’t entirely impressed with Durst, as he stated:
In the video, Premier revealed that he initially turned down the opportunity, at first being unhappy with his potential lack of input on the track due to the band having already had a complete demo.
